Do You Celebrate Women's Day? - A Gift for all Women around the World - 8th of March

Dear woman,

I don't know when you are celebrating this day on 8th or 10th of March.
But it doesn't really matter as long as you are celebrating it.
Because it is your day even if you never had a child.

  • First Women's Day was celebrated on 28 February 1909 in New York.
  • In 1910, at Copenhagen, 100 women from 17 countries gathered and decided that Women's day should be celebrated all over the world on the same day, but only in 1913 had been finally chosen the date of 8 March.
  • Women's day is a socialist movement and Russia played a very big role in this event. So, not all bad things about communism and socialism. Women were very much considered by the communism, but only for procreation. In my opinion, of course. That's what I learned when I was living under the communists.
I hope you are well on this day at least.
I hope you are treated like a Queen.
I hope you are spoiled in every possible way.
I hope someone will offer you a flower and a hug.
And if nobody does anything for you, know that you are never, ever alone.
Nobody does anything for me either. But life goes on.

Dear woman, I, Cristina G., have a few gifts for you.
